There's a new Scary Movie in theaters this weekend, and it marks the Wayans Brothers return to the franchise. They're also joined by Anna Faris and Regina Hall, who reprised their roles from the earlier movies. The latest parody tackles horror's hottest movies from the last few years, including Weapons, Sinners, Smile, and of course, Scream.

Besides Scary Movie, however, there are plenty of other horror comedies to check out. Here are our recommendations, including where to stream them.

Deadstream

Deadstream follows social media influencer Shawn Ruddy (Joseph Winter). He's a disgraced internet personality who's desperate to regain his following and thus, his monetization. To do so, he livestreams himself spending a night alone in "Death Manor," a famous haunted house in Utah. The movie has a lot to say about the nature of influencer culture, but it's also a lot of fun and funny, thanks to Winter's performance, who wrote and directed the film with his wife, Vanessa Winter. Meanwhile, Shawn gets more than he bargained for when he meets an uber fangirl named Chrissy (Melanie Stone), who is eventually possessed by a demon.

Deadstream is currently available on Shudder, AMC+, and Netflix. It's also available to rent on most major digital platforms.

The Blackening

The Blackening, directed by Tim Story and co-written by Tracy Oliver and Dewayne Perkins, is one long riff on that unfortunate stereotype that the Black character always dies first in horror movies, especially slashers. The movie follows a group of college friends who reunite during Juneteenth weekend at a remote cabin in the woods. They're eventually trapped by a masked killer and forced to play a diabolical trivia game. As part of the twisted game, the murderer demands they decide who is the "blackest" among them, while sacrificing who is the "least black." The film has a smart script and plenty of jokes, and it's a smart take on the horror genre's faults, without coming across as preachy.

The Blackening is available to rent on major digital platforms.

Tucker & Dale vs. Evil

Like The Blackening, Tucker & Dale vs. Evil subverts and comments upon horror tropes. The movie stars Alan Tudyk as Tucker and Tyler Labine as Dale. They're two hillbillies who just bought a cabin in the woods of West Virginia. Their hopes for a relaxing getaway are dashed, however, when a group of college students mistake them for killers, due to their appearance and the state of the cabin. This only escalates after a series of events leads to the college students' deaths, which are then attributed to Tucker and Dale.

Tucker & Dale vs. Evil is currently streaming on Tubi for free.

All Cheerleaders Die

Written and directed by Lucky McKee (May), All Cheerleaders Die follows rebellious teen Maddy Killian (Caitlin Stasey), who joins her high school cheerleading team to intact revenge upon her ex's new boyfriend. However, a fatal car crash kills she and three other cheerleaders, and her ex resurrects them using magic gemstones. This doesn't go as planned because they turn into zombies. All Cheerleaders Die doesn't really get the credit it deserves, but it's a rollercoaster ride of a horror comedy that's one entertaining watch.

All Cheerleaders Die is streaming for free on Tubi.
