David Lynch and his cult series Twin Peaks live on in special events

David Lynch is universally considered one of the greatest filmmakers of all time, and if was still alive, he would be turning 81 years old on next year. Unfortunately, he passed away in January of last year, but his genius will continue to be celebrated.
In particular, there is still a huge fan base devoted to what Wikipedia describes as his “surrealist mystery horror drama” television series Twin Peaks. The series only ran for two seasons initially, but a third season came 26 years later…that’s how beloved Twin Peaks was.
It was a very unique series for its time, and is sited as the inspiration for series such as The X-Files and Bates Motel. David Chase, who created The Sopranos, stated in an interview that “Anybody making one-hour drama today who says he wasn’t influenced by David Lynch is lying.”
In January, Twin Peaks fans in California (or those who wish to travel there) will have the opportunity to attend the Twin Peaks David Lynch Birthday Event in LA on Lynch’s 81st birthday, January 20, 2027.
Present for the event will be many of the stars of Twin Peaks including Sheryl Lee (Laura Palmer), Ray Wise (Leland Palmer), Michael Horse (Deputy Hawk), Dana Ashbrook (Bobby Briggs), Kimmy Robertson (Lucy Moran), and Harry Goaz (Andy Brennan), along with Sabrian S. Sutherland, who was the Executive Producer for Twin Peaks: The Return.
Attendees will be there as the cast members share their stories and behind the scenes experiences, and will be there for the presentation of a David Lynch tribute video. VIP ticket holders will also have a photo op/conversation with the cast members, and will be invited to a special after show wind-down event. Autographs will also be available as a separate purchase.
But that’s not the only Twin Peaks fan event happening in the next year! On October 31st, the Halloween Special: Trick or Treat with the Palmers and Halloween Dinner with the Palmers will give guests the chance to hang out with Sheryl Lee and Ray Wise in Everett, Washington.
