If you are a true crime follower like myself, you are probably familiar with Netflix’s “Worst Ever” docu series. The most recent was season two of Worst Ex Ever, and just like Worst Roommate Ever, it’s positively insane.
If you think you have a contentious relationship with your ex, your experience most likely doesn’t even come close to what the women in this series have had to deal with. We’re talking serial killers, con men, and manipulators with no end of horrible tricks up their sleeves.
An episode in the most recent season focused on Wade Wilson, who looks creepy af in courtroom photos. He apparently managed to tattoo his face while in prison, and he looks like a demon. Another episode told the story of Kristen, who became romantically involved with Geoffrey Paschel. After he began abusing her, she connected with two of his prior exes, finding out that they had also suffered at his hands.
During the midst of all of this, Paschel appeared on the fourth season of 90 Day Fiance’: Before the 90 Days. Apparently, the show doesn’t do very thorough background checks on their “stars.”
Worst Roommate Ever has also had two seasons at this point, and quite possibly inspired the Hulu docuseries Squatters: Get the f*** Out of my House. Both series focus on victims whose homes were invaded, though Squatters is about people who move in without permission.

Just as with Worst Ex Ever, some of the roommates are guilty of crimes far surpassing squatting in someone’s empty home. The format of both Worst Ever series is the same. Most of the story is told by the victim(s), or sometimes the surviving family members or friends, with input from local law enforcement.
Often, there is video of interactions between victim and perpetrator or video of law enforcement questioning the parties involved. And there is the unique use of animation to “replay” the events rather than real people re-enacting. It’s surprisingly effective.
Worst Neighbor ever will be streaming on Netflix July 1
Netflix recently announced a new upcoming docu-series titled Worst Neighbor Ever, and the trailer is intriguing. No doubt the video footage should be eye-opening, since it seems like every other home in any given neighborhood now has a doorbell camera.
The thought of having a possibly psychopath living next door is chilling, isn’t it? I mean, it’s better than having one in your home with you, but it’s still too close for comfort. Watch the trailer, and let us know if you will be watching.
