Summer officially starts in June (the 21st to be exact), and Shudder’s monthly schedule has plenty to keep you chilled in the blistering hot temperatures. In addition to three new Shudder Originals and one exclusive, there are plenty of chilling “resurrected” titles that will be added as well.
June 1:
The Burning – One of the lesser known “horror at a summer camp” films, The Burning is a much better movie than one would initially expect. Cropsy is the caretaker for Camp Stonewater, and he is the victim of a prank gone wrong, resulting in him becoming horribly burned. What’s a disfigured burn victim to do once he is released from the hospital? Why, take revenge on the teens at the camp!
Sleepaway Camp II: Unhappy Campers – Five years after Angela went psycho at Camp Arawak, she’s back, and crazier and more homicidal than ever. Oh, and Pamela Springsteen has taken over for Felissa Rose.
Sleepaway Camp III: Teenage Wasteland – The staff at Camp New Horizons have no idea what they are in for when Angela (again played by Springsteen) shows up, masquerading as a counsellor that she killed.
Squirm – When a storm results in downed power lines, the electrical charge causes horrific worms to move above ground. Since they are man-eaters, that’s not good for the locals.
Interview with the Vampire – “A vampire tells his epic life story: love, betrayal, loneliness, and hunger.”
Raw – Justine is a devoted vegetarian when she starts attending veterinarian school, but desperate to fit in, she eats meat for the first time. Soon after, she begins to crave raw meat…including human flesh.
Evil Dead II – Ash (Bruce Campbell) is back in this sequel, in which he and his girlfriend Linda visit an isolated cabin in the woods. When he makes the ill-advised decision to play a recording of passages from the Book of the Dead, things go sideways.
30 Days of Night – A small Alaskan town is invaded by vampires who are drawn to the idea of total darkness for a full month. The town’s residents try to survive the resulting bloodshed.
Bram Stoker’s Dracula – In Francis Ford Coppola’s 1992 film, Gary Oldman plays Count Dracula, who goes to England in an attempt to seduce Mina (Winona Ryder). Mina’s fiancée Jonathan Harker (Keanu Reeves) isn’t happy with that plan.
Fright Night – Charley Brewster thinks the guy that just moved into his neighborhood might be a vampire, and enlists his friend Ed, girlfriend Amy, and former horror host Peter Vicent (Roddy McDowell) to help him.
John Carpenter’s Vampires – Jack Crow (James Woods) has been trained by the Vatican to hunt and kill vampires. He and his team are trying to keep a centuries-old cross out of the hands of a powerful vampire named Valek. The cross would allow vampires to walk in the sunlight, and the team decides to use Katrina (Sheryl Lee), who has been bitten by Valek, to find him.
June 5:
The Ice Tower (Shudder Exclusive) – 15-year-old runaway orphan Jeanne decides to hide out in a film studio where an adaptation of The Snow Queen is being filmed. She becomes obsessed with Cristina, the actress playing the title character.
June 8:
The Wait – “Portrays the macabre descent into hell of a man facing the consequences of a morally fraught decision.”
June 12:

Find Your Friends (Shudder Original) – Five besties living in LA decide to take a trip to Joshua Tree, and end up in a small desert town populated with aggressive residents. Soon, the negative energy begins affecting their friendship. Find Your Friends stars Bella Thorne, Chloe Cherry, Helena Howard, Sopia Ali, and Zion Moreno.
June 15:
Cannibal Mukbang – “Shy and looking for love, a man becomes smitten with an outgoing and mysterious woman, who, much to his surprise, reciprocates the attraction. As his feelings for her intensify, so does his unexpected submersion into the woman's biggest fixation: the wild world of mukbanging. And with it, lots of bloodshed.”
The Columnist – A columnist named Femke is fed up with the negative (and often threatening) comments people make on her social media accounts. When Femke begins to take murderous revenge on the trolls, her personal life takes a hit.
Trespassers - Two very unhappy decide to rent a luxurious house in the desert. During a night of debauchery, a woman who says her car has broken down shows up, and though she seems harmless enough at first, that may not actually be the case.
June 19:
The Voices of Our Mother (Shudder Original) – After Harriet’s mom dies at age 95, Harriet herself experiences a health problem that leads her four children to come home to help care for her. “As their past animosities and secrets are revealed, they soon realize their mother’s health issues may be supernatural.”
June 22:
Baise-Moi – Sex worker Nadine and porn actress Manu go on a killing spree after they are sexually assaulted.
Criminal Lovers – Alice and Luc commit a murder, then go on the run. When they find a remote cabin inhabited by a hermit, the tables are turned, and they must fight for their lives.
In My Skin – “A woman grows increasingly fascinated with her body after suffering a disfiguring accident.”
Evolution – Young Nicolas lives with his mother in a seaside town inhabited only by women and boys. He begins to question everything after seeing a corpse in the ocean.

June 26:
Forbidden Fruits (Shudder Original) – “Free Eden employee Apple secretly runs a witchy femme cult in the basement of the mall store after hours – with fellow fruits Cherry and Fig. But when new hire Pumpkin challenges their performative sisterhood, the women are forced to face their own poisons or succumb to a bloody fate.” Lili Reinhart, Lola Tung, Victoria Pedretti, Alexandra Shipp, and Emma Chamberlain star.
