Halloween Horror Nights has such sights to show you with newest house announcement

Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood have released another haunted house theme for Halloween Horror Nights, and this one is sure to please horror fans everywhere. Both of the events will feature a Hellraiser themed house!

This is the first time the iconic horror film has been featured at Halloween Horror Nights. According to the press release, the house will be “based on the original Hellraiser trilogy.”

Guests will be thrust into the world of pleasure and pain as they step into the Lament Configuration puzzle box that was featured in the films, opening up a gateway to unspeakable horrors. Many of the horrific locations included in the Hellraiser universe will be included in the house, such as Frank Cotton’s dark attic, the Channard Institute, and the Labyrinth inhabited by Pinhead and the Cenobites. Be cautious, because they are just waiting to torment your souls for all eternity.

The first Hellraiser film was released in 1987, introducing us to that iconic puzzle box and the terrifying creatures who were found there. Pinhead, Chatterer, Butterball, and The Female Cenobite were waiting to literally rip Frank Cotton open when he solved the puzzle. But that wasn’t the end of Frank. When his brother Larry moves into the house after Frank’s disappearance, he brings his wife Julia with him, not knowing she had and Frank had had an affair.

When a drop of Larry’s blood partially resurrects Frank, Julia’s obsession with him returns, and the two scheme to fully bring Frank back to life. Things get complicated when Larry’s daughter Kirsty discovers their secret.

Fans of the films will be thrilled to know that “legendary Pinhead actor Doug Bradley will reprise his character and lend his voice to the Hellraiser houses in both Orlando and Hollywood."

Limited release merchandise for the Hellraiser house, including a t-shirt and a Pinhead acrylic figure will be available online as of July 1 on shopUniversal.com. The acrylic figure fits the separately sold Infernal Carnival collectible display.

You can also purchase your tickets and upgrades for Halloween Horror Nights Orlando and Hollywood online.

Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights begins August 28, and runs through November 1. In Hollywood, the event runs from September 3 through November 1.
