A Stranger Things house is headed to Halloween Horror Nights

With summer ready to unleash blistering heat and humidity in Florida, Universal Orlando Resort has released some really cool Halloween Horror Nights news. We already know the theme of this year’s event (Infernal Carnival of Nightmares), as well as the characters who will be hosting (Jack the Clown and Dr. Oddfellow). We also got the announcement that one of the haunted houses would be based on the very successful film Sinners.

Now we have learned another haunted house theme, and it’s one that Halloween Horror Nights has featured in the past. That’s right, Stranger Things is back with another haunted house after being featured in 2018, 2019, and 2023.

The 2026 house will place its focus on the fifth and final season of Stranger Things at both Universal Orlando and Universal Studios Hollywood. According to the press release, the house “will showcase the most gripping moments from the final season in an authentic, visceral experience that places guests at the center of the ultimate battle to save Hawkins.”

Guests will come face to face with the locations, characters, and terrifying creatures that we all know from the Netflix series. And yes, Vecna will even put in an appearance.

If you dare to enter the Stranger Things house, you will step into Hawkins, where there is a dark force at work. You will find yourself in familiar territory, including the Hawkins National Laboratory, the military base, the Wheeler House, the Upside Down, and the Abyss, where you will have to evade Demogorgons and Vecna throughout, so be ready to battle to the death.

Special Stranger Things merch will be available at Halloween Horror Nights

If you make it out of Hawkins in one piece, visit the gift shops, where you can purchase limited release merchandise inspired by Stranger Things. The items include a mug, a t-shirt, and an acrylic figure that will fit perfectly into the Infernal Carnival collectible display (sold separately).

Merchandise items are available for purchase now at Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood, or you can buy them online. Additional Halloween Horror Nights merchandise will become available in the months ahead.

Halloween Horror Nights will run select nights from Friday, August 28 through Sunday, November 1 in Orlando, and from Thursday, September 3 through November 1 in Hollywood. Tickets for both locations are on sale now, and additional ticket options will be available soon for Universal Orlando Resort.
