The hit web series The Amazing Digital Circus is coming to a theater near you!
The Amazing Digital Circus is an independent web series created by prominent online creator Gooseworx and Glitch Productions. The series follows a group of characters who find themselves trapped in a digital circus world with no memory of who they were and no escape in sight. It has been known to have strong elements of comedy, horror, and existential dread.
The series is quickly approaching its anticipated finale, and fans have the chance to see the series conclusion on the big screen. The Amazing Digital Circus has amassed something of a cult following and developed a passionate fanbase ever since the release of its pilot episode in October of 2023, with the kickoff episode garnering over 400 million views. The series began as only being available on the Glitch Productions YouTube channel and eventually found a second home on Netflix while still maintaining a free viewing option on YouTube. Now eight episodes later the series is on the cusp of its 9th and final episode, and it's going out with a bang.
Just two weeks ago, episode 8 premiered on YouTube and currently sits at a whopping 78 million views, and while many fans are excited to tune into the finale on YouTube and Netflix on June 19th, there is now a chance to see the finale not just on the big screen, but two weeks early.
Digital Circus: The Last Act is a two-part theatrical experience where both episode 8 and the hour-long episode 9 finale will premiere on June 4th, two weeks before its virtual release. This opportunity is only available in the United States, Latin America, Japan and Canadian theaters. Tickets are available now, and those interested in getting some are suggested to act quick as website traffic has made it so that when I visited the site to purchase the tickets, there was a brief wait time to enter the website to select my theater.
Tickets are available on digitalcircus.movie. If there are no theaters in your area participating, the Glitch Productions social media accounts have asked audiences to "respectfully reach out to your local theatres to ask them to bring Digital Circus: The Last Act to your area."
The Amazing Digital Circus has become one of the most prominent independent animated on the internet in quite some time, so the news of it being able to take its finale to the big screen is a huge moment for independent art.
Digital Circus: The Last Act will be playing in limited theaters starting June 4th and will be available on YouTube and Netflix on June 19th. Episodes 1-8 of the series are currently available on the Glitch Productions YouTube channel and Netflix.
