AMC Global Media presents panels and horror news at Comic Con New York

As you might expect from a network that places a spotlight on horror year-round, AMC Global Media made some pretty big announcements and presented great panels at New York Comic Con. First let’s take a look at the news.
In a Violent Nature: Part 2 has already been announced, but now we know the sequel to In a Violent Nature will hit theatres on February 12 of 2027. The date was revealed during Shudder’s panel by none other than actor Ry Barrett, who portrays the nature-loving killer Johnny in the films. In a Violent Nature 2 takes Johnny to a summer camp, where an outcast kid spends the night with his sister, who is a counsellor, and her friends. The events take place during the camp’s annual party celebrating the end of the season.
The first film hit big at the box office and with critics, despite the fact that it was rather slow-paced for a horror film. But the kills were original and violent, and everybody was talking about that gruesome yoga scene!
Scott M. Gimple announced that all eleven seasons (177 episodes) of The Walking Dead will be added to AMC+ effective January 7 of next year. The series was immensely popular, making its debut on October 31, 2010, and its final episode aired on November 20 of 2022. During that 12 year span, there were six spin-off series, along with specials, bonus episodes, and a recap/talk show called Talking Dead, which was hosted by Chris Hardwick.
AMC+’s The Walking Dead Universe collection will include pretty much everything TWD-related: Fear the Walking Dead, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, The Walking Dead: Dead City, The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live, The Walking Dead: World Beyond, and Tales of the Walking Dead. The collection will also include Comic Con panels and a selection of movies and series that feature the stars of The Walking Dead franchise.
AMC Global Media's panels at New York Comic Con were stacked

The panels AMC presented during Comic Con New York were geared towards their newest series Kill Jackie and YAGA, along with returning series Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches and The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon.
Actress Catherine Zeta-Jones and Executive Producer Peter Lawson talked about AMC+’s new revenge thriller series Kill Jackie. The two presented clips from the series and a sneak peek of an episode, plus they dished about behind-the-scenes stories.
For YAGA, TV Insider’s Damian Holbrook moderated a discussion with series star / Executive Producer Carrie-Anne Moss, Writer/Showrunner/EP Kat Sandler, and EP Mackenzie Donaldson. The panel members shared insight on YAGA, which will premiere on October 23. New scenes were previewed for those who attended the panel.
Alexandra Daddario, Harry Halin, Tongayi Chirisa, Betsy Brandt, and Eliza Scanlen were joined by co-Showrunners and Executive Producers Esta Spalding and Tom Schnauz and EP Mark Johnson to talk about the upcoming third season of Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches: Salem Coven. That series will premiere on December 30.
Finally, Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride showed up to talk about The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon’s final season, which will premiere in February. Executive Producers David Zabel and Scott M. Gimple joined them as they surprised the audience with a new teaser trailer. The panel talked about the 15-year journeys of Daryl and Carol, who have long been fan favorites.
