Now on Tubi: Buzzkill and the Campus Kills collection
The Horror Lounge already covered Tubi’s expanded “Terror on Tubi” section, but we haven’t had the chance to talk to our readers about their new original horror film Buzzkill. It’s a fun, clever slasher that was written by Suzanne Keilly (the Slumber Party Massacre remake) and directed by Jem Garrard (Slay, R.L. Stine’s Pumpkinhead), and it stars Siena Agudong, who is about to make a big splash as Sue Snell in Mike Flanagan’s upcoming Carrie series.
Buzzkill visits a group of sorority sisters at a big party where Nora (Agudong) is supposed to be the “sober sister.” Distraught over a breakup, she fails miserably in her duties, and then murder happens.
Nora believes she saw something while drunk, and waylays her own sober journey in an attempt to remember what happened that night. In the meantime, more people die.
By all means, watch Buzzkill – but follow it up by exploring the rest of Tubi’s collection titled Campus Kills. All of the films relate to high school or college horror, and who doesn’t love that (except for the brutally murdered students)?

Prom Night – A high school prom goes very bad when a masked killer shows up to kill the teenagers responsible for the accidental death of one of their friends six years ago.
Black Christmas – Sorority sisters are stalked and killed within their own sorority house in this fantastic slasher. *Note that this is the original 1974 version.
The Prowler – “A group of college kids prepare for their graduation party, but a maniacal serial killer dressed in military fatigues spoils their plans.”
Pledge – Some college freshmen are eager to pledge to a hot fraternity, but the hazing ritual is far worse than they could have imagined.
Kristy – College student Justine is dead broke at Thanksgiving, so she has to stay on campus for the holiday. But she is not thankful when a group of killers shows up.
Hell Night – Linda Blair stars in this one, about a group of college pledges who make the ill-informed decision to spend the night at a mansion where a family murder occurred years earlier.
Initiation – When Kylie is sexually assaulted by a group of fraternity brothers during a party, she is ridiculed on social media. She and her friends set out to get to the bottom of it.
Splatter University – “A semester after a professor and his students were killed by an escaped psychiatric patiend, his replacement and students head toward the same fate.”
Hello Mary Lou: Prom Night II – Mary Lou was tragically killed on prom night, and her vengeful spirit comes back for revenge.
The Initiation of Sarah – Sarah is a shy, socially awkward college student who joins Phi Epsilon Delta. There, the house mother discovers that Sarah has the power of telekinesis.
Decoys – When a pair of college students try to lose their virginity, one begins to suspect that the girls on campus are behind a string of bizarre murders.

Happy Hell Night – A fallen priest murdered seven fraternity members after they broke into his family’s crypt. 26 years later, new pledges are required to break into the asylum where the priest is held.
Sorority House Massacre – A college student and her sorority sisters are hunted by an escaped mentally deranged killer who shares a strange telepathic bond with her.
Silent Madness – When a computer error leads to a serial killer’s mistaken release from a mental hospital, a psychologist poses as a sorority sister to catch him.
Monster on the Campus – A professor uses the blood of a primitive fish , which causes him to transform into a deadly creature.
After Midnight – This anthology film delivers three tales, plus a wraparound story involving a class called ‘The Psychology of Fear.’

Sisters of Death – Years after a secret society initiation goes wrong, the survivors receive an invitation to a reunion at an estate owned by the dead girl’s father.
